ExerciseTV has a wide variety of workouts, designed to blast the holiday bulge. This video-on-demand television network offers Comcast, Time Warner Cable, and Cox viewers free featured programs such as TV series, full-length movies, and fitness tutorials. ExerciseTV has numerous categories that address many ages and ability levels—just in time to blast the holiday bulge.

Beginning December 1, ExerciseTV will be offering free workouts from their Yoga Works series. These workouts are fast-paced enough to burn fat and maintain interest, but the smooth transitions are slow enough for the clumsy to follow. Hosted by Shiva Rae, Brian Kest, and Rod Stryker—these experts keep the beginners motivated and the experienced challenged. YogaWorks will be releasing three full-length fitness DVDs the beginning of December. From YogaWorks’ Beginner’s AM/PM to Body Slim to Fit Abs, there is a yoga-inspired workout to suit everyone’s fitness goals.

ExerciseTV is also featuring “Ultimate Body-Yoga Fitness” with three different length workouts. “Yoga Fitness Plus,” lead by trainer Elise Gulan, strengthens from head to toe for forty-six full minutes. “Lower Body Yoga” is great for beginners; lead by trainer Tom Morley, this workout targets everything below the bulging belt for twenty-two minutes. The DVD also features five two-minute bonus workouts to add variety to any workout.

One look at Cindy Whitmarsh’s abs will be enough to motivate even the laziest couch potato to try “The Less is More Workout Series.” Whitmarsh’s thirty-minute cardio workout begins the DVD, which then moves to a twenty-minute yoga routine, then a twenty-minute pilates session. The DVD ends with a Strength Training Series, which targets specific muscle groups for ten minutes at a time.

Whether logging in to www.ExerciseTV.tv for free downloads, tuning into ExerciseTV from a cable’s on-demand menu, or experimenting with a wide variety of trainer-designed DVDs, there are plenty of workouts that will help everyone lose the five to ten pounds the average adult gains during the holidays.
