Hull Street Blues has it.

Hull Street is located in Locust Point. It is easily accessible by the water taxi from the Canton, Inner Harbor, or Fells Point, Fort McHenry stops (or others if they have more).

So Hull Street Blues, the bar, has been around for a while, starting as a saloon in 1889. It is a little step back in time for some locals, since this bar was established in 1984. It has much to offer from a fantastic menu to special evenings for New Years Eve.

There are plenty good beers on draft as well as the basic bar goodies. On tap is usually McHenry (since you are about ½ mile from Fort McHenry the national monument), Brewer’s Art’s Resurrection, and a few other good options.

The environment is warm and friendly with lots of wood. A nautical theme sets the stage and is more than appropriate for this point location which is a peninsula in Baltimore. Casual attire on the bar side where you enter and a lovely commodore room as the adjoining cozy restaurant. But you can be comfortable dressed casually in either area. There is a wonderful fireplace next to a large round table that is great when you have a few extra people.

The owner Daniel is a doll and Dave the bartender rocks.

There is also a shuffleboard tale for fun. Some TV and juke box as well. Cozy smoking or chatting benches are out front for your convenience and comfort.

Open 7 days, 11 a.m. – 2.a.m., Kitchen open ’til 10 p.m. Monday – Thursday,

‘til 11p.m. Friday and Saturday,

‘til 9 p.m. on Sunday

Happy Hour is Monday through Friday – 4 – 7 p.m.
